Video capture card at the ready, Photoshop at the ready and Macromedia FIreworks at the ready so I can get down to doing the various wallpapers and video captures of the first couple of hours.

I will then be kissing goodbye to my life for the next ten weeks with only work during the day to interupt Big Brother. Last year I 'capped' somewhere over 4,000 pictures from Big Brother. This year will be probably more like 6,000 or so since I can now rely on my capture software to do automated capture at intervals I can set and a the same resolution as the rest of my captures.

Glued to the TV the world does stop when Big Brother starts.

Wow 4,000!
Keep up the good work with the screencapping MrO. I hope you have a large enough harddisk for those piccies.

80 gigs in total, should be enough.

Cool, that should do the trick.

Anyway, that went slightly OT, so heres my answer to the thread title:

I will be sitting in my living room, with the PC playing the BB themetune at 20:15 so that i get even more into the BB mood.

I will also have the channel4.com/bigbrother site open in the background waiting for the whole Channel4 site to colapse from increased visitors, while DS:BB will be handeling the increased 100's of visitors excently

The TV will be on in the other corner of the room on Channel4 with the sound cranked up in anticipation for the BB theme tune into and hopefully a nice new opening sequence - which eager screencappers like MrO will be capping.

I will then dart back to the PC when the first ad-break comes on and check to see if channel4 have yet managed to revive their site, while also visiting DS:BB to read the minute-by-minute updates by the fantastic DS:BB reporting team.

Right i think i have said enough now.

I shall be thinking 'I hope that contestant stays, she/he looks like they might be good entertainment', only to log on here and find everyone else is saying 'she/he must go!!!'.

So we are setting up a nice little network downstairs (I love having me PC downstairs) - CH4 / E4 will be on the 32" widescreen (and also on the pc (tv card) )

personally Im fed up with BB4 already. My interest peaked a few days ago but now its just too much. I dont know what they were thinking letting 32 housemates in. This Sandy is just awful, and Nick??? come on!!!!!, Helen is so stupid,.... I for one have had enough and refuse to watch anymore but will carry on posting as normal

managed to edit it before I was corrected ....phew

Well, before the weekend I have to move my office around so that I'm facing the door and people can't see what's on my screen.

Then I have to rearrange the sitting room, move the computer in there and also get Sky box for the bedroom.

Like cable guy I will be trotting around between pc and telly while adverts are on to see what everyone's got to say.

Saturday morning - up early - E4 on and I'll sit and watch them all asleep. 'Ohh one moved'... rivetting stuff!

Can't wait

I shall be glued to the tv, tears in my eyes with excitement (sad cow I know!!)
My first impressions of the housemates will be that I hate all of them, but I know I have to give them a few days grace before really being annoyed by them. I couldn't stand Jade at first, but was sooo glad she stayed! We must remember to NOT vote out the ones that are troublemakers or whingers lol... what would we have done without Alex and that classic moment behind the door!!

Couldn't you do that during the adverts, BBG ?

You'd have at least four minutes.

Time for a cigarette as well !!

Why would I want a cigarette to use my new rowing machine?

Cigarettes don't even have arms and legs, you dolt! How will it hold the oar-thing?

I shall be surfing the net or playing computer patience while watching BB in the background (that's not a slur on the show - I just like to multi-task!)

I only have terrestrial & I'm out a lot - so I'll be playing catch-up by reading the threads here!

Sat at home enjoying a glass of wine, banished to my bedroom, cursing that I do not have E4 for the next nine weeks.

Oh the joys of Big Brother.
