Ok guys which of the last 10 Idols deserve success and where do you see their careers going in the future.

I think the following have a great chance..

Clay - Probable AI winner , but broadway bound for me !!
Ruben - Successful recording artist doing slow love songs.
Kim Loch - Probable recording artist doing slowish R&B.
Josh - Possible career doing country style music.
Trenyce - Possible recording artist diva style music.

I`m afraid I think the rest will sink without a trace...

[COLOR=crimson]No problem, Rumblytum! I was glad to see that Frenchie was doing so well myself. It just so happened I saw that she was on Good Morning America on Tues with the rest of the RENT cast so that's how I knew what she is doing now.

In some respects, she might be better off the way it worked out than if she had been permitted to stay on the show, even though I also think she would have given Clay and Ruben a run for their money. This way, she scored just enough publicity to get her name known, getting her the Broadway job. At least now, even though she might have to work a bit harder, she will have control of her career, where as Ruben and Clay are going to be AI puppets for awhile, having to record what they say, appear where they want them to appear, ect.

I wish all involved good luck because they all are VERY talented.

(BTW, please don't mind the color text. This MB is new to me and I'm having fun playing and experimenting.)

Hi Phanatic,

thanks for all that, hope you enjoyed the final last night? I still have to wait a few hours before I get to see it, unfortunately I know who won, have to admit I was rooting for Clay though!!

But I wish them all the best of luck now and hope they do well in their own right. I'm not sure that Clay or Reuben will be entirely happy with being controlled so fiercely by Cowell and Co though, I know Will (our Pop Idol) isnt!!

Hope we get to hear of their music over here, otherwise I'll just have to drag myself to the USA again!!!!

xx

about Jessica Garlick:

Quote:
“She followed it with low-key shows around the UK - but went to the US with Evetts to make a guest appearance on American Idol 2.

Producer and American Idol judge Randy Jackson was so impressed that he reportedly signed her with the intention of launching her on the US charts.”

Hmmm... I wonder why they never showed up on the show.

That's cool that Randy might have signed her.
