I know. I know. *pat pat pat*
There's a certain artificial familiarity that comes with seeing people on television. They're in our territory, our living rooms. ADWD is on my laptop, for crying out loud, so everyone on the show feels familiar. But I don't know them - and more importantly, they couldn't care less about knowing me.
I've bought a ticket. Okay, TWO.
Hey, I'm coming all the way from Texas, I'm entitled. Speaking of entitled, do you know what that ticket entitles me to have? A seat in a theatre for two hours. Full stop. This sounds like a broken record (for those of you young enough to know what that sounds like), but Lee Mead could honestly not give a stuff about me - and he's NOT SUPPOSED TO. At the end of the show he's done his job and he deserves the same peace and quiet as anyone else. When performers choose to do the stage door meet-and-greet, that's a gift, not an inalienable right we have as ticket-holders.
The point I'm trying to make is this: those of us who say we admire Lee should treat him with admiration. Or even basic politeness. Let's put our money where our mouths are and not put the poor guy in a position where he'll start HAVING to be abrupt when fans cross the line.

and then onwards, confident, angry, naughty, deceptive Lee is the best IMO!
