I haven't bought this yet, but I've heard its actually country/ rock!~ interesting, don't really like the first single too much I have to say, but if anyone has bought 'Lost Highway', what do you think?

It's a good album. Definitely lots of country influences in there. It's very summery as well - best played outside, but maybe when the weather picks up a little!

Unfortunately there aren't really any "wow" tracks on there as there have been on previous albums, but there aren't any duds either. So not outstanding, but it trundles along nicely.

There's a duet with Leann Rimes on there which is a standout track, as well as the title track and "Summertime".

Definitely worth purchasing. Not as "country" as I first feared, and with plenty of outstanding tracks. Dont judge the album on the first single as it is definitely not indicative of the rest. To be honest a strange choice of lead off single

it's a good album, not their best though. I have to agree summertime is quite good. I quite like the first 5 tracks on it.

you would loose money my friend. this is a change of direction for jovi. one that i did'nt think would work but does.

several of the tracks are possible their best in well over ten years ( whole lot of leaving, any other day)

best of all sambora has some good solos

Absolutely agree with the above, this has to be their best album in a long time - one that I can play over and over again without getting bored - unlike their last few releases.

Having been a fan since the beginning I have to say it's nice to have them back to their best.

This is definately one album worth buying this summer.
Yeah it's different but anyone else out there lucky enough to get to see them last month at the O2 will agree that the new tracks sound fantastic live.
Whole lotta leavin, Any Other Day and Got it Going On really stick out with me as being my favourites from this album along with Make A Memory.

Second worse album after This Left Feels Right. They're not even touring for it and it's not been as heavily promoted as, say, HAND or Bounce.

Never mind, maybe they'll get back to the greatness of KTF or These Days next time.

Kinda harsh, don't think that they've meant it as a main album release, I may be wrong though.

Correct, they haven't.

I've heard they're planning a definitive Greatest Hits album for next year, which will involve a proper world tour to promote (even though all their tours are essentially Greatest Hits tours anyway!)

It's certainly not like their glory days, but I'm glad they've acknowledged that they're getting older, and evidently enjoyed trying something a bit different. Not an all time great, but it's a great summer soundtrack.

The world tour for the Lost Highway album starts in the USA in January, which is normal when they release a new album during the summer!!!!!!
