Neighbours star quits
Sorry if this has already been posted, but I couldn't see anything.
Pepper is leaving Neighbours. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/a6...act-short.html Personally I don't think this is any great loss. Pepper is too much of a panto character to be taken seriously IMO. |

What a shame.
I really like Pepper. A character like her suits neighbours very well. And she's quite fit too.

Yes, she may be "fit" but she was never much of a character for the show.
I fail to see how Pepper and her entourage fit into this new "family image" that Neighbours are heading for...! Anyhow, let's hope she does well in the US. |

I don't think I'll miss her much, although many of my male friends will miss her 'assets'.

It's a shame that Rosie will be losing her best friend, since they have been very close since they both came into the show. As much as I like Pepper, I'm alright with her leaving...I just hope that she leaves in a happy way. Maybe she can go to live with

She's my favourite character!
This sucks. I'm not really suprised though, Whealan is destined for really big things IMO - I always thought she would end up using the show as a stepping stone to other things. But it is a real shame. Pepper is the perfect Neighbours character - she's what the show is all about! |

Pepper is the hottest woman on the planet, if there is any man which doesnt find her hot they are a disgrace to the red blooded group

I am gutted that Nicky Whelan has quit- I love Pepper!
She finishes filming on July 20th- so not long left! And she is going over to the US. |

Gutted.
I only really liked Pepper out of all those who live in the Ex-House of Trouser. I don't mind Carmella but Pepper was my fave! She was always so friendly, a little dippy and hot, everything that a perfect non-family neighbours Character should be. Now Libby will end up friends with Rosie no doubt ![]() I wanted Libby and Pepper to be Teacher friends Hope she does well as imo she is a pretty decent actress |

Thankfully for us, Australia films about 6 months ahead of screening...so she'll be on screen for a little while yet!!! Quote:

What is it with Neighbours acting deciding to head to the US for work after quitting? Do they honestly think they will have an ounce of success out in LA? I mean Neigbours is hardly the RSC is it. I remember Kimberley Davies who played Analise leaving to go there and pursue work, and now she's over here staring in a Daz commercial. Then there's Holly Valance

IMO thats half the problem with neighbours at the moment they bring in really good charcters that people really start to like then they disappear again. There have been a lot of guest actors who I would have liked to stay like Miska, Father Tom and Joe Mangle. I thought they were all great and should have been given contracts. Neighbours has changed so much and thats due to the amount of the cast who have gone. Its not even recognizable to the neighbours of even a year ago.
Characters I would love to see back on a full time basis: Struart Parker Will (cant remember his name but he was hot) The Bishops (I still really miss them) Izzy Lynn and Ozzy with Joe Mangle All the Timmins family (big mistake getting rid of them) Anyone think of anymore? |

I'd like all the above to come back except Lynn, she annoyed me. The way she finished every sentence with "ya know" ! On top of those I'd like to see some of the characters from years ago back in it: Melanie Pearson Rick Alessi plus Angie, I miss her! And Dee. Although I wouldn't care if they brought her back from the dead alot of people would hate that. |
