Oh don't...how hilarious!!

Am a little late coming onto the thread - but there's not much more I can add really.

I had a fantastic evening, first meeting the Angels (what had I been thinking of ), then a very entertaining show and finally meeting Ben *thud*

As already been reported Ben was every bit as fantastic as we expected, if not better. To us he obviously stood out on TV and we loved watching him. But seeing him live is how I think Ben can be best appreciated. He really is an outstanding, all singing, all dancing performer! You can really tell he loves what he does, and as much as he puts 100% into each song, it all looks like it comes naturally to him. When he's on stage its pretty easy to not see anyone else as he really draws you to him.

It wasn't just Ben who was great. The rest of the singers and dancers were very good too. The choreograhy in particular was brilliant. I just loved it all! I was very impressed indeed and really enjoyed every bit of it. I just wish I could rewind the evening and take it all in better. It seemed to be over so quick!

Saying hi to Ben afterwards was a real treat. He really didn't seem to mind stopping to chat, taking photos, answering the same repeated questions lol To think he'd only flown into London that morning, and was flying out again very early the following morning.. He must have been exhausted and dying to get a few hours rest, so it means even more that he stopped to talk.

Thanks for a super night Ben, and see you in Crystal Palace.

Perfectly true I really enjoyed the show, and Ben did extremely well - a born perfomer, confident and the singing was great.



You shouldn't say that - tosh I conscientiously collected all our rubbish, walked (some distance) to the bins, put it all in the correct containers, and, on my way back, noticed a young bloke doing pics and hugs...........

Just goes to prove how looking after the planet can be so rewarding

It was lovely to meet you all and I will see you again at CP, in my ongoing role as Twingle's personal photographer.

Am sooo jealous that the Angels that went to Kew got to meet Ben Am seriously thinking of booking tickets to take my girls to CP as they both love Dirty Dancing and would give me great pleasure to see Ben in the flesh !!

Does anyone know what the seating plan is like there?

Someone came up to Nicky and said are you Nicky8 I have read the thread and think you are as famous as Ben or words to that effect

She came up whilst we were stood at the rail trying to get a Steward to take banner to Ben and said something like Oh you're Ben's Angels, I read your thread but have to lurk cos I can't register (yahoo address). She then recognised some people from their MySpace photos and wanted to know who was who out of the rest of us. Then said can't believe I've met the Angels, you're famous! LOL

Ooooh I'm taking my girls....how old are yours? Mine are ten (twins, naturally - that's both literally, and figuratively, if you can figure that one out!?!?!). One is a bit gaga over Ben. The other wants to come, but prefered Anthony. Unclear why, though he's marginally closer in age.

We're all looking forward to it. I have no clear weekends between now and 11 August, so it will pass v quickly. Next weekend, I've got a gig (just a pub one...lol), and a friend is staying, following one I'm supposed to be in Sheffield, though I don't know how I'm going to afford it after booking up for CP, following one we take girls to summer camp, following one after that, we pick girls up from summer camp and then go to CP....whoooooppppppeeeee.....I really, really hope it doesn't rain, but even if it does, I hope the show will go on!

A few other things I loved;

Ben had a few parts when he interacted with the crowd and he was so great - really natural and at ease. And of course the crowd absolutely loved him.

There were a few comical moments (minus Ben) with the others dancing and singing out mini scenes, dance lessons, etc a little bit of slapstick dancing etc. All really well done and very entertaining, esp the geeky boy

Found myself crying when he sang She's like the wind Then saw I wasn't the only one! He sang it so brilliantly, just as he did every song that night. And it can't have been easy while crazy girls were screaming his name.. not us Angels of course

I loved the bit with the geeky boy....he had a sign on his back saying 'Kick Me'......aaaaawwwww

'Wipe Out' was an excellent bit too....all the dancers were ACE!

and i can't go to CP either as i'm in Italy!!

Wish you could come to CP...the more Angels the better I say! Flippin Italy getting in the way of Dirty Dancing

The Angels met up beforehand, some in the afternoon and rest outside Kew and then we all sat together...it was really fab, great to meet everyone and put names to faces!

No, we DID NOT wear Angel wings!!!!!!! We used mobile phones, like normal people! LOL

I'll be the one with identical twin smallish ten yo girls, though one's slightly taller and slighter and has slightly wavier hair than her sister. They have shoulder length brown hair, and are gorgeous. i'll be on my broomstick. Failing that we can swap mobile numbers.

LOL *imagines us stood in Kew queue wearing wings* no we didn't go quite THAT far! Mobile phones and lots of texting helped us all find each other

So sorry you're going to miss the CP concert - Italy will be lovely but awwww what a shame it'll stop you seeing Ben and meeting the rest of us. We can take lots of photos for you (but I know it won't be the same as seeing him for yourself)

i asked my dad (yeah im only little ) if we could come back from hols early, but he (understandably i guess!) said no
i would so have come in angel wings though! lol
