Did anybody bother going to visit Martin while he was in prison?

Pauline was behaving like she hadn't seen him or had contact with him for months and his mates were much the same.

Maybe he didn't want any visitors or he was in a prision too far away?

Well unless the prison was in The Square, the High Street, Up West or Manchester no one could have visited him cos thats the only places EE's characters are allowed to go.

I can't remember their being any mention of prison visits either!!

Or it may well be that Martin didn't actually want them to visit, so he didn't send them any V.O's !! LOL

By the way, i think he got a really short sentence, didn't he?? How long's he been inside, 12 weeks???

He was supposed to be in a juevenile detention centre, not even a real prison - there are juevenile detention centres in most big towns and definitely in London -maybe Pauline just couldn't face visits cause it reminded her of when Arthur was inside!

love the way he's turned 'bad', by pathetically sneering at people on the market

yes that'll show em how great you are Martin!

Martin and Vicki should be tied together and merged with a tidal wave

How could I ever forget Romford?

Though the other night Dennis said his mate was in Plaistow nick. Someone not a million miles from me at the moment has spent a night in that hotel

I've also never seen him in Ilford, which is where he and Ricky go and 'pick cars up' from

There's also Brighton (for weekends away), Southend (when they're bored of Brighton) and Manchester (EEs equivalent of Brisbane for Neighbours - the great studio in the Sky)

Carene, if Martin got a 6 month sentence it's pretty realistic that he'd be out after serving half his sentence.

I don't know, the state of our legal system! One can only presume that Bruce whatsisname who plays Les Battersby asked his bosses at Corrie for a 3 month sabbatical too. Which reminds me, I'm looking forward to spotting the graffiti in the cell tonight!

Now you see both Phil and Ricky have been spotted by some of us in Ilford (but in real life).

Steve McFadden used to be a bit of regular down Faces and sid Owen was regularly spotted in Sainsburys at the top of Ilford Lane

Sid Owen once came into Sainsbury's Chadwell Heath when I worked there a long time back

he was an absolute t**t - juggling oranges, spilling things on the floor

he also forgot his cheque card and demanded the manager come down personally and authorise it, which he did

ugh, he was an idiot
