Does anyone notice irony in what the actor apparently says in that article?
He says he quit The Bill because ITV were trying to sex up the programme too much but his new character in Eastenders by the sounds of it is just as much a womaniser as his Phil Hunter character is. Eastenders is hardly any better when it comes to trying not to sex up storylines. |

The reason the bill shouldn't be sexed up is because it was always a serious police drama and not a watered down soap... EE has always been more of a rounded soap but I disagree that they try to sex up storylines in EE eg. what was sexy about dot's baby storyline and Stella abusing Ben??
