What are they?

I have two...

The Verve - The Drugs Don't Work

All this talk of getting old
It's getting me down my love
Like a cat in a bag, waiting to drown
This time I'm comin' down

And I hope you're thinking of me
As you lay down on your side
Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again

Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again

But I know I'm on a losing streak
'Cause I passed down my old street
And if you wanna show, then just let me know
And I'll sing in your ear again

Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again

'Cause baby, ooh, if heaven calls, I'm coming, too
Just like you said, if you leave my life I'm better off dead

All this talk of getting old
It's getting me down my love
Like a cat in a bag, waiting to drown
This time I'm comin' down

Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again

'Cause baby, ooh, if heaven calls, I'm coming, too
Just like you said, if you leave my life, I'm better off dead

But if you wanna show, just let me know
And I'll sing in your ear again

Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again

Yeah, I know I'll see your face again
Yeah, I know I'll see your face again
Yeah, I know I'll see your face again
Yeah, I know I'll see your face again

I'm never going down, I'm never coming down
No more, no more, no more, no more, no more
I'm never coming down, I'm never going down
No more, no more, no more, no more, no more
(Repeat and Fade Out)

and

Coldplay - We Never Change

I want to live life, and never be cruel
And I want to live life, and be good to you,
And I want to fly, and never come down,
And live my life, and have friends around

We never change do we?
No, no.
We never learn do we?
So I want to live in a wooden house

I want to live life, and always be true
And I want to live life, and be good to you,
And I want to fly, and never come down,
And live my life, and have friends around

We never change do we?
No, no.
We never learn do we?
So I want to live in a wooden house
But making more friends would be easy

Oh and I don't have a soul to save,
Yes and I sin every single day.

We never change do we?
We never learn do we?

So I want to live in a wooden house,
Making more friends would be easy,
I want to live where the sun comes out.

Now there's a coincidence. I was going to mention Ben Harper's version of this song which is definitely my top 'feeling blue' classic song. It also sounds great when your stoned which proves that the drugs do work

Natalie Imbruglia- Big mistake

I often listen to it after being on this message board, can't possibly think why.

There's no sign on the gate
and there's mud on your face
don't ya think it's time we re-investigate this stuation
put some fruit on your plate
you forgotten how it started
close your eyes
think of all the bubbles of love we made
and you're down on your knee
it's too late
oh don't come crawlin'
and you lie by my feet
what a big mistake
I see you fallin'

gotta buz in my head
and my flowers are dead
can't figure out a way to rectify this situation
don't believe what you said
you forgotten how it started
close your eyes
think of all the bubbles of love we made
and you're down on your knees
it's too late
oh don't come crawlin'
and you lie by my feet
what a big mistake
I see you fallin'

I could sting like a bee
careful how you treat me
baby I don't think l'll accept, your sorry invitation
close the door as you leave
and you cry over me
I can't wait
I feel you stallin'
and you try to reach me
what a big mistake
I hear you callin'
[chorus]

I used to love that song

And when I'm pissed off, happy music just pisses me off more, so I usually ending up to depressing music and go to bed...

This may be just me, but when i am feeling down, i would not listen to music that would make me feel more depressed!
So i would probably choose an upbeat song, which would lift my spirits.

Couple I can think of offhand:

David Gray - Babylon
New Radicals - You Get What You Give

Edit: Bit of a self-help one too - Baz Luhrmann - Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)

I also try to play happy music to cheer myself up, funnily enough. I got out of my Smiths phase a while ago.

Anything by The New Radicals.
Anything written by the guy from The New Radicals, such as Inner Smile by Texas, or The Game of Love by Santana.
Koochie Rider by Freaky Realistic
Danger! High Voltage by Electric Six although that has worn off now
The Seed Version 2 by The Roots
Tune In, Turn On, Drop Out by Freak Power
Can You Dig It by The Mock Turtles
Looking for Love by Karen Ramirez
Gabriel by Roy Davis Junior

Good list of music there.
When I'm depressed, I just usually listen to sad songs and they usually put me in a good mood again... somehow

I don't think being depressed and pissed off are the same emotions.

When I am ticked, I love to hear the only song from The Band Perry that I care for right now and that is their newest song on the radio here named "Done".

God bless you and them always!!!

Old thread is old.

Anyway...

Depressed:
John Lennon - Nobody Loves You When You're Down And Out
(I used to hate it but now I'm older I love to wallow in the dreariness of it)

Pissed off:
Marilyn Manson - Irresponsible Hate Anthem
