Shame she's the one who's going, I thought she had potential to be a good character. Weren't there rumours that she was going to get together with Dev?

I like Jerry and Darryll is ok, but the girls  Although, i thought Jodie's scene today was really funny when she was talking to Violet

Kayleigh is the biggest non-entity of the house, so I naturally thought it would be her. They've done nothing with her so far. Finlay also isn't used for much since his mum left him with the Mortons.
Edit: She left, not axed. Well, fair does to her then. |

What is it with these actors leaving so early? First Paul Connor, now Jodie Morton!

Hopefully the rest will follow. Although I did like her - she had the potential to be a good character but not with that family.
Love this quote: "Samantha will have a huge Christmas exit storyline." Yeah, right. She's not been in it five minutes - I hardly think she warrants a 'huge' exit storyline, nor do I think she will get one. |

i tihnk she might feel as though its her responsibility to look after her siblings in a way, and the kebab shop. mel has decided she wants to join the police and darrell is 'stupid' as jerry said which leaves jodie having to look after the shop.
i think she wants more to do or be able to do what she wants rather than feeling she's the one stuck with the shop, especially if jerry was to go. maybe thats a reason she wants to leave, well her character anyway. i saw her once on cbeebies, well i thought it was her, but didnt realise it was until i read it in the sun. |

Notice that the article says that they're going to "rest" the character.
That seems to hint at a possible return. Speaking of which - isn't Danny Baldwin due back soon?. |

The Morton's haven't really done a lot.
Oh well. I liked the youngest child and her half brother slight thing at the start of their entrance. |

Oh well. The Grandad and the youngest daughter are a complete waste of space. The twins have possible potential but have so far been under-used. Jerry I've kind of warmed to a bit, and Jodie is OK so it's a pity she's the one leaving. |

Shame, she was the one I warmed to first. But I'm glad she jumped rather than being pushed.

Yeah i would have prefered her to stay, she was one of the ones they could have done the most with.

I think it's a shame she is leaving. There was potential there for her character and i thought she was ok...but i suppose it's a suitable decision by her if she's apart from her family.

Wow.. she really didn't do anything did she.
Her biggest storyline was probably the kareoke scene.
