I know this has probably been asked before, but does anyone know if any of the housemates have ever been on here?

Or does anyone actually know any housemates IRL?

I know someone who applied.... thats it really.

Were they cool about it all or bitchy?

Did they spill any beans or are they tied up in legal contracts to keep schtum?
Would be class if more ex HM came on to air thier views....

I believe they were both very pleasant. If you do a search, you will be able to see their messages, but there was no bean-spilling, I'm afraid.

I strongly suspect we had a few of Jonny's relatives here last year - it got quite nasty the last few weeks!

Kate Lawler has definately been on given Andi Peters comments on that radio show last week. He was obviously dedicating stuff to us at DS because he knew just how much Kate hates this Forum's worthy deliberations!!!

And then, there's that message from the production staff at RI:SE !

PS - Agree with Johnno. Jonny Regan's herd were here last year. Very abusive people.

I don't remember exactly but something like...' Kate's friends at DS'. There was also another similar remark from Andy which was discussed either on the 'Kate:Rise' or 'Progress Reprt' threads.

I think you got the wrong end of the stick here, Eejay

Andi P was reading out a message from a caller or e-mailer called Andrew, who was saying hello to his friends at DS

Andrew the caller is one of us !!

So, who could it be.................?

Let's have a witch-hunt !!!

No, it was in addition to Andrew's dedication.

PS - We both know Andrew well !

Oh well, you've probably got me bang to rights there 'cos I wasn't listening to the show

My head is swirling with all these names within names within names. It's like one of those Russian doll thingies

I've come to the conclusion that I no longer know who anyone is !!

As you say it got very nasty indeed. They didn't even bother to try to make valid counterarguments, instead resorting to hurling plain abuse against anyone who was hurting the Jonny cause by exposing him for the calculating fake etc that he was.

As I recall, it had been widely rumoured that Jonny had a well-organised family-and-friends team to flood all web BB discussion forums with positive comments, stamp out all negative opinions, to control public perception of him favourably, and thus create a 'winning bandwagon'.

I believe that was true, and the sudden evaporation of all those numerous nasty Jonny supporters here after the show ended would seem to support that rumour....campaign team wound up, presumably.
I have little doubt that Jonny, desperate that he was to win, had his PR machine all worked out before he entered the house.... and the last-ditch revelation of the shamelessly cynical 'NYFD donation pledge' was another evidence to indicate that.

(ps. Good to see you back here, johnno - enjoyed reading your contributions last year)

There are those among us who know each other's pseudonyms and aliases.....

BTW I suspect that every single ex hm has and probably still does read this forum. Whether they contribute or not.....

I don't know whether he was on here after his BB appearance, but I do know that Jonny has posted on here before he was in the house.
While in the house he admitted to being a BB fan, and to posting on more than one BB forum.

Hang on a minute,.........Alex posted here once didn't he??

If I remember rightly,......he asked why so many people invested so much time in supporting him, and seemed slightly overawed by the support. He said that he couldn't understand why many supported him as he was just an average guy.
He then thanked people for their kind words.

Other people reckoned he wasn't sincere, and was just coming here to preen himself.

Unless I've got my reality all mixed up, and it was just a message passed on to the forum,.....but I'm sure it was Alex who posted.

Does anybody remember the post I described above?

You gotta be wrong on that one

It's never been mentionned in the eight months I've been around and this subject of HMs posting has been discussed several times

Surely one of the Angels would have remembered ?

( They never forget, you know ) Bless !!

That post exists, Swingaleg.

I think it was posted by Alex himself,...but if one of the Angels wants to dig it out, it'll show if it was just a message passed on by Alex to a fan to post. (but still an indirect message to the forum from Alex).

Like I said, I can't claim to be completely sure it was Alex himself.......but that post definitely exists.

I hope somebody remembers that post,..even if it's to show that I'm mistaken in some way.

Alex said something about how he went on the internet and saw how one bad post about him would resulted in about 30 post defending him in a interview in NOW Magazine and he couldn't understand why.

Someone on this site quoted it and assumed he was going on about the posts on DS and later someone else pointed out that he was probably refering to the posts on his fansite.
