...Or is the music industry tired of him? (Though it barely got any time to do so)

That is all I will say folks!

The man is a has-been who has a case of sour-grapes.

I bet Lee 'save the dolphins' Ryan and Anthony 'the fat one' Costa are gutted.... they've been washed up since Blue split.

I've been tired of him for a long time. Nice of him to finally realise it and save us from any more dribble.

He is doing well in Chicago as Billy Flynn. Hope it leads to a musical theatre career for him - it did wonders for Darius who is now playing Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls.

Anyway, I'm not surprised that he is fed up with the music industry - it appears to be run by people who have no interest whatsoever in music! Just making money.

He says that pop music is less about the music and more about the money these days, but he thinks the Spice Girls will change that? Considering they are reportedly recording TWO NEW tracks and releasing all of their old hits on one CD - and each earning an estimated £10 Million EACH from the reunion - I doubt very much the music industry will change with their return. It will just make it more greedy.

...It's just another way of saying "I've failed miserably and now I'm going to blame everybody else for it."

Duncan could just never cut it solo unfortunately.

A Blue reunion on the cards now perhaps?! (Maybe minus Simon).

I hope not!!

Apparently Lee may be heading to the jungle for the next series of I'm A Celebrity....not forgetting the derogatory things he said as regards to Anthony's participation in a previous series.

Simon hasn't exactly set the World alight with his last offering though has he, although I think he's into management and other things, so maybe he's content as he is.

The problem is, there have been so many boyband members who thought they could make a go of it solo, but it's rarely worked out, only Robbie and Ronan have really succeeded.

Ooooooo noooooooooo it annoys me that ex pop stars walk into parts in MT when we have so much MT talent struggling to get noticed

They all seem to get a shot at MT these days - soaps stars, pop singers - regardless of talent or credibility.

That is true!! Though some ex-popstars have been quite good at it! but i definately give others a chance who may be even better at it.

I cannot imagine Duncan being the leading man in chicago...though i can't slate him until i've seen him in the actual musical..i could be wrong.. he might be really great at it!! but....

Simon has definately been the most successful out of all the blue boys!!
He also seems the most humble and greatful for things unlike the rest of them

I think he'd suit musical theatre more than the others!

Oh no, what a shame. What a wasted talent. He should be massive. I would buy all his records and worship him.

Judging by the lack of news about his most recent single I can only presume it bombed monumentally.

None of the Blue boys have enough talent to have sustained success as solo artists. Simon Webbe may have faired better than the others but given his poor second album sales I'm sure his days are numbered.

As for Duncan I think he'd be better of doing presenting which he does seem to have some talent for.

Duncan did musical theatre before he ended up in Blue. I remember reading he said he had difficulty changing from a MT voice to a pop voice.

I've not seem him in Chicago so can't speak from personal experience ... but I would imagine he'd do okay given his background.

Yes, Simon is occupied at the moment with a number of projects I believe.

"Coming Around Again" and "Grace" are actually two fantastic tracks from the album, but it hasn't really set the world alight unfortunately.

Just because they're known as one type of singer or actor, doesn't mean that's all they can do successfully. They get auditioned just the same. If they've got the talent and their names can put bums on seat and keep the production open for other West End hopefuls, why not?

The named leads usually only do a couple of months at a time because they are fitting MT into their other career commitments.

If Duncan wants to move away from music to try something else, he should. He may have a baby face but he's nearly 30.

Darius is still on track - recording in London next and then in Los Angeles. However if other projects come up that he "can't/won't refuse", no doubt he'll juggle things to fit them in.

I think we're all bored of boy/girl bands who break up and then try it alone. History shows that it is a hard slog and you may as well try a different career rather than fade away.
