Hello, I'm trying to think of some ideas for smart playlists to use on itunes. Have you set any up?

Ones I've come up so far with are:
-Top 10 songs I've listened to over the past week (although I'm not sure this is set up right)
-Songs rated 4 or 5 star that I haven't heard in the past week
-Remixes

I really like them because it lets me listen to songs that maybe I wouldn't normally think about listening to.

I set up a Smart Playlist for songs between 2-3 mins. Very handy to have some good songs that don't go on and on and on sometimes

*Songs from this year (year is 2007)
*Not Played Lately (3 stars or higher, not played in last 3 months)
*Instrumentals (song title contains 'Instrumental')
*79 minutes of unplayed songs (so I can burn a CD for the car)
*Unrated songs (so I can rate them and they'll drop off the list)
*Track number is 1 (generally produces strong and popular songs)

If you've got lots of albums in your library try 'track number is 10' for a smart playlist. It made a great mix of songs on mine, with a generous amount of unheard songs.
