I think last year they were supposed to go to the hotel on Thursday, but Jade's shooting her mouth off meant they had to go on Tuesday.

This is also used by guests (celebs) and is used by the housemates as they await the start of the series. However - there is a mad operation which keeps the hm's apart... as the rules state that the housemates mustn't knowingly meet up before the series.
So when they arrive, they will be given a minder, who will have a walkie-talkie and will keep in touch with where the HM's are to avoid a meeting.
