Yes - and it makes them look foolish. I can't see it being any different this year

(Name change - jsut to confuse ya - was tutter) But no you read it wrong - i was being sarcastic. Definately not a homophobic post. Was trying to take the tone I expected the sun would. Sorry that wasn't clear.

The money's safe then - the first orgasm is usually the male's and nothing in multiple ( he'll be asleep 2 minutes later )

The Sun has put up wads of cash for the first Big Brother bonk - but only if it's heterosexual. Some progress
... Leaving aside any discussion of contestants' dignity (or the lack thereof), and ignoring the dubious morality of a newspaper promoting promiscuity by offering people money to have sex on television, the Sun's stipulations regarding sexuality reveal a wider truth: we're not as cool about gayness as we'd like to imagine. ...

....True, we are more relaxed about sexuality, but even in the most liberal circles there is an attitude of "so far and no further", and it's not half as far as the heterosexual equivalent....

BOOKIES have slashed the price on a Big Brother bonk after The Sun offered £50,000 for the first contestants to have sex.

Coral from 10-1 to 5-1.

“But the money continued to pour in making us cut the price to 2-1.”

Ladbrokes are betting 50-1 that a couple will have sex on Friday, the FIRST NIGHT

Well judging by the over reaction on here it looks as though the Sun has come up with a winner of an idea yet again
Not only is the obvious outrage this offer would cause free publicity for this trash paper but it is almost certain they will never have to pay out either. Any bonking, not that I think it would ever occur anyway in BB over here, would be viewed on as purely mercenary now anyway, regardless of the true circumstances.

It's a perfectly justified reaction Elderflower....The Sun has revealed it's homophobic attitude once again.....And I doubt any publicity it's gaining here will will result in any extra papers being sold.......

....And since when have housemates not been viewed as purely mercenary?.......

You just wait to BB4 starts for some classic over reactions to the smallest things.....

I am still waiting to find out what was happening with Sophie and Lee the very same night (I believe) of PJ's alleged BJ.

At the time there was a lot of talk and reports that "something" had happened between Sophie and Lee, but it had been hushed up for some reason.

Guess we will never find out now

Was the Sun's famous homophobic attitude ever in doubt then? You only have to think back to BB2

Sadly I disagree with you here, it is a car wreck newspaper.

I am sorry Mesostim I have to agree with Elderflower on the point about them selling more papers over BB smut and blatant homophobia. I think circulation will be up this week... (The pedant within wonders where circulation figures can be obtained... )

Let's face it, the people who buy the rag generally do so because they hold the same opinion as it (or because they are so weak minded that these people's opinions are formed by the $un).

I don't expect that these same people pick up the paper to read articles based on organised debate, reasoned thinking or even a modicum of logic...

Say, lighten up there BigMac! I don't think even the Sun would claim that's what it's there for. Bit of a busman's holiday for us lot, anyway

They see themselves as part of the entertainment industry, not politicians or social workers.
