Attractive in the case of most beauty pageants = Caucasian features, assuming we're talking about the UK here.
If you're holding the pageant in, for example Ghana, then things would be different.

It was used as an example to highlight the fact that the features of black women and white women are very different and it's the features af white women that a lot of beuty pageants or fashion shows in this country are looking for.

It's positive discimination. I do not understand why there is a need for a black women only fashion show, the same as for a white women only one. Make up features I understand as we have different skin tones and make up shades that suit different women are useful but clothes- no.
What is wrong with celebrating your culture or where you come from?. People of all different backgrounds celebrate it, why is it only an issue when its black?
