Whats the Extra wires for?
So, In the house there is the main phone line (bt)comming from the pole in the street, down the wall and into the corner in the room
From the main box leads two other wires comming out of it(or 3) which makes another three phone boxes in rooms in the house, Also plugged into the socket is the phone/bb etc.. Today i noticed the extra wire comming in the house was not from the pole but from a box on the wall outside( i have never looked at this box right and assumed it was for my phone line) So here is my main socket, The little bt box on the right has nothing in it, and the wire on the left also comes from outside http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s...Pic-0020-2.jpg Here is the outside of that section http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s...Pic-0022-2.jpg The one comes from the roof from the pole and the other unsued one from inside comes from this box http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s...Pic-0023-1.jpg http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s...Pic-0024-1.jpg |

The grey box is a cable box (tv, telephone & broadband).
You have your convensional "BT" line via pole and Virgin Media (unless Kingsin Com etc...) via street level! |
