Apparently The Sun will be publishing some details today about the 12 housemates. So far there are some thumbnail pictures with the following caption:

Are these the Big Bruv 12?
Riddle of snaps from BB house may reveal all
This is of course a riddle in itself.

And why the link doesn't connect to an article about this feature?
Updates to the online version most frequently occur between 1.00 and 4.00 am. Other features has been updated. A mistery

Just in case this dissapears from their news section, I'm including links to two pictures appearing with the caption above.

Big Bruv stand-ins ... or TV reality?

They could be a group of 12 reserves or a team of red herrings deliberately leaked to fool people like Dominic Mohan.... you decide

Well at work they ban the sun website, but I did see the newspaper at the shop this morning as I picked up my quality sandwich (or cob as they call em around here).

I saw the pics and it just seemed to me that the sun are VERY desperate to get in on BB, but it only really spoils it for me, same as that 50k str8 bonk fiasco. What is Bekkie thinking?..

Oh yeah, moneymoneypaedophilesmutmoneymoney...

Really like the article from the Grauniad (did I just say that?) which is helpfully linked from a post by Tamara .

The Guardian used to be infamous for the number of spelling mistakes that would appear in its pages each and every day. As a result, for a joke but also to make a point, media types started to spell the newspapers name incorrectly. 'Grauniad' was the version that caught on.

You can be forgiven for this Tamara because you did this in the interest of journalistic pursuit, something which (imo) is something that the sun know nothing about.

Another Link To The Sun Article.

Quote:-
The man with the gruff voice said he’d “found” the pieces of paper underneath a camera at Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire, where the heavily-guarded Big Brother house is located.
It all sounded plausible. But then the holes in the chap’s story began to appear.
As it turned out, he hadn’t actually found the pieces of paper himself.
He was swiftly turning into a nervous wreck and back-tracking.
I called a source on the show who told me we’d be in Big Bother if we said that these were definitely the 12.
He said dry-runs were taking place inside the house — and it was feasible that these were simply a reserve squad being used in training..
They could be a group of 12 reserves or a team of red herrings deliberately leaked to fool people like me.
After all, there’s a rule on Big Brother that if the contestants’ identities are revealed before the show goes on air, then they will be booted off.
A spokesman for the show said: “These are not the final 12. We have been having run-throughs with stand-ins.”
But surely this could just be Big Brother propaganda designed to put us off the scent?
So, are they or aren’t they? I’ll tell you on Friday.

hmm yes so I see - extremely suspicious - kinda leads you to believe that maybe some BigBro executives are reading this forum????

I thought they might be coz on the official site there are headlines making fun of rumours - and almost all the rumours they make fun of - come from this site!!

Oh we're being censored!!!!!!! - Shhh i'd better be careful what I say - they might be watching........ (or um reading...)

HELLO TO ALL BIG BROTHER EXECUTIVES OUT THERE!!!!! - LESS FEEDS OF THE CHICKEN COOP THIS YEAR TA VERY MUCH!

Andy (Paranoia is slowly creeping in.... ok it's here now.....)

Oh god - what if they are in the chatroom soon enough - oh god - help we wont get a moments peace - we don't know who they are - they might be someone we talk to everyday!!!! it's tally - omg Tally is a big brother spy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

um...Sorry..... I'll get me coat.....

You mean Kai who has been nicknamed by Tally as "Satan" and get's extremely annoyed with you if you suggest that Kai is sweet and innocent??

Lol - especially after it chewed through her laptop power cable leaving her running the laptop on batteries so she had to limit herself to 10 minute net sessions - hehehehe

TALLY SATAN IS CUTE AND SWEET AND INNOCENT AND CAN DO NO WRONG!!!

Even if these were the final 12, they probably aren't any more. If Bigbrother's security operation has failed the big brother executives are hardly going to be sitting back and relaxing are they? These people would have been downgraded to the standby's list and some other rejects called in.

Then again...

This may all be a ploy to get us to buy The Sun and the people in the article are actually just Sun employees

Or...

Big Brother has be known to 'leak' false information to throw the press and the rest of us off the scent. The Big Brother producers must have great fun posting on message boards such as this and watching the uproar that follows.

One things for sure though...

BigBrother is certainly not going to prove the press correct at such an early stage of the series.

trust me, these weren't the final ten, I saw them!

it was a mickey take as all these people were very ugly, with probably very little chance of ever being selected for BB.

and no, I'm not being ugly-ist, it was a joke and it was funny.

could it be an all-male cast this year to cock a snoop at the sun?

Big Brothers all-male final 10 extravaganza

I think Richard has it in the bag.

it took me a while to figure out what you meant I thought maybe cock-a snoop was a rapper, not being up to date in these matters.
