This thread would have come in handy when I first discovered discussion forums a few years ago. It took me a long time to realise what LOL meant. I thought it was 'Lots of Love' and just thought everyone was very affectionate!

This thread is such a good idea. When I first plucked up courage for my first post that Alert signal came up and frightened the life out of me, I thought I had committed some terrible internet crime. Turned the whole thing off and fled from the room. Incidently I still don't know why it appears!

It's there so that you can report another poster if you find their post offensive in some way.

* Danfans can also be found on a separate thread in the 'music' section of DS... Go 'Music'...'Music Forum'... 'Daniel Boys Kitten club'- usually near the top of list because we like to post... A LOT... (!)
