LOL I am no Wimp! I will put my brothers boxing gloves if you want to fight!
(Just teasing) Eejay just didn't like any of the contestants last year. I really didn't care for any of them. I was more interested in just watching the behaviour of the HM's to see how it progressed with in the house.Any way you have to have us neutrals around so that we can wind you and all of those whom support HM up. |

However if you were to have Kylies boyfriend on the show then I would be hoping for him to stay on till the very end.

Neutrals
Well I must confess to not really caring who won last year (aside from my works sweepstake and not wanting Jonny to win 'cos he wanted it TOO much).
I liked watching both Alex and Jade but I only liked them in the house, but aside from a vague curiosity about them I don't want to see them on TV (they don't have what I look for in presenters). I found last years Housemates were all lacking in warmth somehow. The programme is in danger of becoming an audition for wannabe TV presenters. Not helped by the fact that their success is measured by some 'fans' in how many media appearances they have made. Still, the discussions on here are fun..

I agree with the above, especially after Brian doing so well and to some extant Craig on TV.
You are going to get a lot of hopefulls wanting to make it big in the showbiz world. |

Yep, after losing Alison and Spencer I couldn't give a shit who won last year apart from not want Alex or Jade to win. So Kate was the best option iof a bad last 4. hopefully there will be someone this year who I'll like as much as Anna and Brian.

Well if I am neutral I suppose I would want to put each contestant down. But I haven't always been neutral just on the last show. Anyway I think it's all one big laugh nothing to take seriously. After watching last years show anyone wishing to take part this year must be in need of straight jacket.

I had a lot of affection for Alex in BB3, but I think he was playing a part as much as the others. I was taken in by his speech saying what a disappointment it had all been and how he was going to go to Germany afterwards. But, what does he do? Turns into another sad media wannabe appearing on any TV show that will have him.
Brian is the only one I was interested in for quite a while after BB because he seemed to have some genuine talent. But I can't see his career progressing any further than it has done, mainly due to the fact that he is a child in a 25 year old's body and doesn't seem to be interested in anything other than Westlife, S Club Juniors, and how much money he can throw away on designer clothes. I thought Anna was great too but she was incredibly wooden on everything after BB and has disappeared never to be seen again probably. Kate is just awful on RI:SE and has obviously only been chosen to front the BB coverage. They will ditch her afterwards (along with the rest of the programme probably). |

I tried to be neutral last year but there was one HM I really could not stand. Hopefully I never let it show though.

I agree with the comments relating to concerns about BB (inevitably?) developing into an audition platform with each successive year.
The producers claim this year they have carefully tried to pick people who are not blatantly trying it for ulterior tv career motives, as "that is not what the BB experience is about". Personally what I'd really like to see is the BB4 winner refusing all 'offers' afterwards, spurning media interest and declaring they are going back to their old job, £70k richer...as it is 'supposed to be'.... ![]() but perhaps that may on the contrary actually further heighten media interest in him/her, in a play-hard-to-get-attraction sort of way?

I was totally neutral on final night last year, but that was'n't good enough around here!!!
I find it hard to think of myself as a fan of any BB contestant... a supporter maybe but not a fan. Ill be soooooooo glad to have a new set of contestants instead of a "real" winner discussion

Just because you don't favour one housemate or another, doesn't mean you can yank the chains of those FMs who do! ![]() Although I'd never do that of course. Me being a diplomat and all that. ![]() BBG Last edited by Boutros B Ghali : 22-05-2003 at 11:09. |
