Download the Nokia software updater from the Nokia website. Then follow the onscreen instructions to update the firmware.

I currently show firmware version 11.0.0.26 on my N95...
The updater did not update my phone to the 12.0.0.013 I am on Vodafone currently |

You'll have to wait until it's available then.

I'm thinking about buying the phone, but my boss says the returns rates are high. Is it jealousy on his part.

I updated mine a while back (branded, Vodafone) and find that the phone is now a bit slow, takes a while in opening a menu and taking a photo lasts a life time.

Here is an irritation ---
1) "Keyboard Locked when Slider Closed" is set. 2) Phone rings in my pocket. 3) I reach in to get it and accidentally press a key. 4) Phone ANSWERS IN MY POCKET. 5) Keyboard Locked does NOT MEAN KEYBOARD LOCKED. Anyone know any way to keep the keyboard COMPLETELY locked when the slider is closed, even if it is ringing? Thanks |

How do you debrand? Does it wipe settings?
Ive just got a Vodafone n95 and would like to upgrade to v12 but not have to wait for Vodafone to pull their finger out. I dont mind doing all my settings again if that is the case, unless it means loosing contacts - i spend a good half hour copying contacts from my old phone (sending business cards over bluetooth!) |

No available on o2 yet - but this is no surprise as 11 took a while to filter down

T-Mobile were the first with 11.
No sign of 12 yet though. |

Has anyone else on o2 got a problem with this phone in dual mode? My phone always seems to stay on gsm mode in places where my previous phone (n80) would be on 3g.
If I set the phone to 3g only its fine, but don't want to do this in case I lose 3g coverage and do not have the gsm switch backup. |

Try settings/connection/packet data and set to "when available"... might be the answer
