And as for Alex being a wannabe, he has always maintained he is grateful to BB for opening doors for him. He also said he will see how far it lets him go and if it doesn't work out then he will go back to modelling, what's wrong with being honest? I would consider him more of a wannabe if he pretended to be going back to his old job all along while in reality having no intention of doing so, but attending auditions for ...oh let say, a pantomime or musical for example.

I wasn't saying you in particular disliked Alex for that reason, though it may have come across like that, but a few people have admited to disliking Alex based purely on his voice and it is this that I find shallow. Each to their own, you find Alex's voice monotonous, I finding it quite soothing at times and think he has a lovely voice.
