No new features just fiddly new buttons.
![]() I love my K800i, it has to do me a year before i start getting offered upgrades, but my last phone lasted me a year so i'll be fine. I wasn't planning on getting rid of it either, but my mum offered to get me the K800i so i said yes, and she got my old phone. If it wasn't for her, i'd have my old one till Xmas

I got my K800i and have a red icon on the front screen - red handset with a crooked red arrow above it.
I think it is the sorting of incoming calls icon. Try as I might, I can't get rid of the little blighter. I have gone into settings/calls/manage calls/accept calls and it doesn't matter if I select all callers/only callers from list/None, the little red icon is still displayed on the front screen. The phone seems to work ok, nut I know this icon is going to annoy me. Can anyone suggest a solution, or should I send the phone back?Or is that being a bit rash? |

ff999 . . . On the main screen press "calls" I think your describing the missed call icon.
tobes7 . . . . Turn on the auto keylock under settings, general, security. |

No, It's definitely not the missed call. I know, because I called my phone, and didn't answer before I cancelled the call, and that did produce the 'missed call' icon (bent red arrow). It displayed next to the icon I'm talking about. I was able to get rid of the missed call icon by displaying the missed call list. This icon I'm having problems with is a red handset with the red arrow above it in a V shape, as if bouncing off the handset. I've checked the T-Mobile K800i instructions, and seem to have the right one, but nothing removes it - even a reset. |

Calls diverted
It looks as if there a call divert set on your phone, voice , video or data. Check the settings option , 4th tab and look for divert

Not a bad phone, Kind of dissapointed though, I have the older version with the huge ugly shutter opener on the back. Whoever designed that needs firing, it always opens in my pocket. I believe they fixed it in the newer model.

I'm thinking of upgrading to the K800i from my K750i (which is still working perfectly 12 months after purchase). Is it worth it?

It's a good phone but I'd reckon you'd be better off with an N95.

I got an n95 and don't use it as my main phone now as it's too big and feature heavy , got a k810i off ebay instead and it pretty much does everything I want really well . The N95 is a good gadget though

The N95 isn't that big, and isn't all that much larger than a k800i. I like a phone to have a good camera and it beats the SE efforts on both still shots and video capture.
