if he does talk a load of bollox then he'll be on the same wavelength as the housemates (probably!) so on with the show...I can't wait - how sad is that

I concede that possibility.

1. Definition : common meaning of shrink ' psychiatrist'
qualified doctor that prescribes legal mind-altering drugs (amongst other things).

I hate with Venom the 'shrinks', i'm certainly not one of those.

think of me, as just someone who has an interest in the subject. I have done a decade in academic on psy. matters, although 10 yrs is nothing compared to many i know- who NEVER left uni. They stayed there from 18 onwards, never leaving.

Calrissian : Would like to slice and dice those 'shrinks'

And of course Cal, if we feel your talking a load of bollocks you won't mind us saying so...... ...Or should I say....won't mind us debating the matter....

Just as long as it's motivated solely by people wanting to question the issues raised by Cal in his column and not by some simple-minded grudge.

Naturally...I certainly wasn't aware that I bore Calrissian a grudge.....And certainly not a simple minded one at that....We can question the psychological assessments if we don't agree with them can't we?....in a similar way we don't take the Sunday Night Psychologists at face value......

If of course it's deemed that I am simply executing a vendetta then I'll stay well out of it....Although that seems a little unfair...

Sorry, but that was the impression I got.

Fair enough.....I can assure you that that is not the case.

One of them is bound to have a weird walking style
And they'll be condemned for the next 9 weeks of their stay (or maybe just a few hours if the same day eviction rumour is true)

Calrissian : Standby one houston....
”

I think it may have been a good idea to first determine whether people actually do have much of an opinion about housemates from when they leave the car up until they enter the house.......I may be wrong, but I get the feeling they don't really.

I can't really see what you're hoping to find,....because in those first few seconds, any opinions on the HMs would be so superficial.....that inevitably, definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, our opinions will be different, because a few weeks into the show we will actually take personalities into account...rather than what they look like.

But if you'd asked how we feel about them based on what we intial think their personality is like in the early stages.......then I can see that it could be very interesting.

Don't think I was having a go at you in my previous post Calrissian........I do look forward to seeing these occasional experiments. (Even though I think this one isn't going to surprise anyone).

Loved your first article on methods to treat the HMs.

Dissent and discussion should be encouraged on these Forums and not be greeted with abusive posts from reporters, particularly those that appear to believe that the normal Forum rules do not apply to them.

All this is, is an attempt to suffocate debate. I am somewhat surprised by you.

I sent my form back straight after they all entered the house ... one thing I have noticed is my opinions have changed already. I know my second update wont resemble the first one I filled in.
