I don't think Jade looked that bad. Other people in bb have got their kit off and no one bats an eyelid. We saw loads of Jonny streaking and Sandy was just revolting but nothing is said about them.

I agree. I think it just fitted in with the mood of the newspapers and public at that time.

i think channel 5 were trying to put this years housemates off going into the house by saying stuff like "when you walk up those steps your living a normal life but when you come out you havent got one.

that would put me off! - though watching RI:SE this morning they said they had no TV in there Hotel room.

that must be why!

I think the contestants are sheilded from all pre show publicity for at least a week before.

As for curse show itself..... i just felt really sad for most of them. It still seems like for many of the ex-housemates, they still place some much emphasis on that tiny part of their lives.

It really made me wonder why the hell i even applied myself to be in that show - clearly, there is a truly reckless part of me.
Knowing the UK media as we all do, any contestant going into the house is sadly walking in cauldron of hot lava.

Calrissian : At least Helen seemed reasonably okay.
”

Probably goes to show that it is how you are while in the house that will determine the reaction and effect on your life after. Helen is just a simple (in a nice way ) kind of girl, who was friendly and happy for all to see. She still is - so I suppose she probably just gets reasonably nice responses from people who see her in the street. Now someone like Nick Bateman or Adele, will get reactions fitting with how they were in the house - problem.

I think that if they don't know that before they apply then they are kidding themselves.

Yes but none of them have ever seen the programme before

I thought it was a pretty interesting documentary about the experience of Big Brother contestants. It appears that people enter the show quite naively, probably because the view that we as viewers get is very different from what it is like in the house.

It also seems like quite a lottery as to who comes out of it with popularity and who doesn't. Even though I'm a fan of the show, I'd probably try to talk someone I knew out of taking part, if they applied.

damn damn damn I missed it!

I was all prepared to give Sandy a fair go and everything.
”

There are some screenshots of this show here if you missed it.

It was better than that Sky documentary the other week, mainly I think because the former HMs interviewed were more engaging and interesting.
