Hi, I've got tunes on my ipod that i uploaded years ago. I now have a different version of itunes that doesn't contain the tunes. Is there any way I can keep the tunes without losing them when i next upload to my ipod?

Thanks

I've wanted to know how to be able to access the iPods library without touching iTunes myself. My pc went belly up a few weeks ago and I thought I'd lost the iTunes library completely and wanted to be able to copy what I had on the iPod back to iTunes rather than reloading everything. As it turns out, thankfully my library was still there.

Anyway, I've been googling and it seems to be fairly impossible to access the iPod through iTunes without it synchronising, but I've come across this bit of software that allows you access to the iPod to copy what's on there back on to your pc. There's a free trial period, so it might be worth a go just to get those tracks back.

Let us know how you get on.

Yes, all these products work great, even if they are just trials.

Have used the trial version of the Copy Trans...(you get a trial for 14 days and can upload 100 songs at a time). Have managed to upload 4000+songs with only a couple of corrupted files. Am happy.

Many softwares can help you copy music from iPod back to computer, such as YamiPod, Aimersoft, SharePod, etc. They are both free:

Hope it helps.
