Rihanna is #1 again

I hate that song so much!

Kate Nash is much better!

Ohwell..... I'm tuning out as soon as #2 is finished, wonder how many other folk will too?

It's the chavs fault! They keep buying her down trodden, soggy song.....

10 weeks. Longest running number 1 since 1994. Love it or hate it, that's quite an achievement.

And, I'm sorry, but Kate Nash..
"I'd rather be wiv your frieeends mate, they are soo much fitta" - Catchy, but ridiculously hilarious.

Carolines a victim is much worse though.

I was watching her on TV the other week .. and she couldn't sing live - utterly dire!

And, her forehead drives my crazy!!

Thanks Rihanna for giving us rain, yet again.

By the way hasn't anybody released a song that is against Rihanna's Umbrella. I heard on these forums that Chris Moyles was on about doing it although I think it might have been a rumor.

Agee totally about Kate Nash and her "song". She has achieved the impossible though and made Lily Allen almost beareable!
As for Rihanna......good for her! She'll be off the top of the charts next week without a doubt, with the physical release of Timbalands track taking her place, but it is a hell of an achievement to stay at No 1 for ten weeks whether you like the song or not!

The singles chart isn't a true reflection of music as a whole because it's mainly on downloads now (alot of stores no longer sell singles) so I'm guessing it's mostly younger people downloading.

The album chart is more varied because it is across the board of the music buying public - whether you buy Paul Potts or The Enemy.

The Enemy's lead singer needs to wind his neck back in though - if he gets knocked off the top by Paul Potts then it's tough t*ts because it's up to us what we buy!

It's irrelevant whether Paul Potts is a one album hit wonder or not. So what? There's been plenty of one hit wonders over the years and The Enemy's lead singer (whoever he is) should put his pink handbag away and get over himself.

He might not be around next year either.
