I have owned and loved my Pioneer DVR-545HX-S since last November (2006) when I moved house. It's easy to use, reliable and great quality.

However.... My main bug bear with it is that you cannot record 2 DVB programs simultaneously! Either I'm doing something stupidly wrong, or alternatively, it's just not possible..? Any thoughts?

I know that there is a second Analogue tuner, but that's not really floating my boat.

Is there another Pioneer PVR that can record 2 DVB streams simultaneously?

p.s. Every now and again, a program records and misses the end - is there anything I can do to get the PVR to adjust the recording schedule automatically if a program over-runs or starts late?

It's not possible, at the moment there aren't any twin DTT tuner DVD/HDD recorders available that I'm aware of from any manufacturer. No reason why they cant be made, just no one's done it yet.

Once again, unfortunately not. You get used to which channels run on time and which usually overrun. BBC2 is always 3 minutes late for instance.

There are twin tuner dvd recorders - however they are only available in Japan, personally I cannot see why they are not on offer in UK - so it might cost a bit more - but at least give people the option.

I have seen so many posts waiting for this spec.
