Please give them time and space.

As the hour approaches for the housemates to enter the house, I think we should all try to understand how difficult it will be for them in the first few moments, hours, days, weeks even. They'll all be slightly wary of eachother and very nervous to begin with so just give them time and space to adapt. Don't expect brilliant things straight away, they're not going to do a song and dance routine on the first night, don't flood the boards with complaints of how boring they seem if they aren't what you expected, remember we've got 9 weeks to watch the whole story unfold.

I agree with you it takes time to adapt. and also to get used to the cameras.

I agree, nobody really knows what it must feel like, except those that have been in. It's like a story, starts off with the introduction, the saucy parts come in the middle, and the end is either a huge anti climax, or is great!

Wise words Achtung, but for my money they are fair game from the second they step through the door!

Well I reserve the right to make snap judgements and hate them all immediately.

Me too

Anyhow, they're not going to know what our first impressions are, so what's the problem?

the first weeks can be so stressful (for me). Theres the obligatory tedious sex-games party, men dressing up as women, people going for unplanned walks in the garden, a fascination with chickens, a midweek drunken booze-up where hatreds are revealed, shaving the hair off, somebody leaves, people sitting outside on chilly evenings, a play ....... roll on week 3 or 4 etc.

Tish Achtung....I expected better from you ......They've known they were going in for some time.......and they signed away the right to expect reasonable behavior from us.....

Oh alright then, go in for the kill. Nasty pasties.

Too right, they've all gone in there for their reasons. At the end of the day they are fully aware they are taking part in a Tv series and that they will be ripped to shreads in the press. The price of fame....

Admirable sentiments, Achtung, but you might as well pee into the wind

They'll know the reality of isloation tomorrow when they realise they're missing the Eurovision Song Contest

Wonder if one of the tabloids will organise a fly-by to banner the result ?

The gay man, number 4 ?, will be over the wall if they don't

let's be fair to them though

over the next 9 weeks we must royally screw each and everyone of them without exception

it's the rules

LOL

It's awful really but it does sort of bring out this side to our human nature, maybe we like Big Brother because it allows us to feel animalistic emotions from time to time.

Only for those that want to rip them apart straight away.
Some of us might actually WANT to behave reasonably towards them. If you dont fine, but its not compulsory to rip em apart immediatly.

If they don't get shafted (perhaps literally) they won't have anything to talk about on 'Big Brother ruined my life' next year.
