Is it possible to make an audio DVD, rather than CD, in iTunes?
Hi all,
Is it possible to make an audio DVD, rather than an audio CD, in iTunes that I can then playback on my PC and rip to MP3's. (for personal use). I was wondering if I could use a single DVD rather than several CD's. Thanks, Steve. |

In a word, no.
DVD isn't the same as CD, it's all 'data' so not possible to treat it as an especially long audio CD. |

Are the files already AAC/MP3 or are some of them DRM protected ( ie bought from iTunes)?
If they are not protected you can just burn them to a 'Data DVD' (Preferences>Advanced>Burning) and you can just play the files from the DVD on your PC. If you are talking about burning protected files to a CD then re-ripping them as MP3 then I think you are stuck with CD until iTunes supports DVD Audio. |
