Unless by some miraculous coincidence it's just me having trouble, it would appear that Channel Four have once again misjudged how much bandwidth they would need for an opening night peak - just like they did in 2002, 2001 and 2000. Still I'm sure it will all be sorted out soon and my £4.95/mo won't be in vain...

Still getting the few errors appearng at the top of the screen. Nothing too major.

I notice it hit a peek at around nomination time, where it seems all the DS servers crashed (www.digitalspy.co.uk wouldn't work!) btu everything seems OK now...

Have been watching both broadband streams since they started to enter the house.
So far Stream B appears to be the only one that's having the odd bit of break up. It's dropped out 3 times which the link failing on restart and one with congestion.
Stream A on the other hand has run perfectly except for dropping out once which was the same time as Stream B dropped out the first time and the link failed but both streams reappeared after a couple of mins.

Picture quality is very good and both are running full screen.

There is also a delay with stream B laging behind A by about 10 seconds.

The C4 site is struggling with the main webpage timing out and the forum taking about 5 mins to access.

DS member has an experience i.e. can connect to DS forum withough problem .... BUT another DS member (myself) has been experiencing problems all evening especially DS related

1) I kept getting a DS box asking for my name and password just to be able to see the darned adverts top and bottom of this forum

2) I posted a message on the site message board forum a couple of days ago .... the second response I which now retract as its almost impossible to view any messages in the BB mini site

3) Rant about C4 on channel E4 whereby the lower quarter of the screen is gonna do my head in with all those scrolling messages ............ that I cannot / will not watch for 64 days

4) Interactive - what's that all about??? Why do they change what ain't broke ... ie that also I cannot watch ....... especially not for 64 days

Items 3 and 4 are a major contributing factor as to my watching factor ............. if it remains as it is - I regret to announce I may not become a BB avid watcher this series

We are very sorry for the outages during this evening, but I can assure you that they were NOT caused by the number of people visiting the site.

I too will certainly NOT watch E4 if this continues and i wont be an avid fan this series.

E4 i hope you are listening to us. This idea sucks. If you must, why not have it exclusive to Interactive services or something?
