Living with parents?

Hmm suppose this isnt strictly BB related so could well get moved to GD

I was a bit that out of a dozen twenty somethng pps 8 or 9 of them still lived at home with their parents. Is this unusual or is it a common trend in big cities cos of accomodation costs?

its probably because people who live at home with their parents generally are less likely to cope when left on their own with no help. people being helpless with no contact with the outside world = great entertainment!

I think its whollty predictable!

You get something like £30 a day to be in the BB house - while the producers are making millions by the way. There's no way you could pay a South East mortgage on £30 a day. You'd have to be living at home to be able to afford to go in there.

They hardly represent a cross section of the public do they? The producers want spoilt brats, that way they should be fighting and bitching in no time....

Oh no, I don't think much of this bunch of people this year though, last year was my favourite bunch but then I don't really know them yet do I ....

Given the choice of paying rent and bills and living at home rent free and never having to see a bill at all it would certainly be a tough call wouldn't it.....

yes I agree. I dont think any of them have children or are married (which is good IMO). I think theyve went for certain types this year in particular. So many living with their parents is a bit strange but then the housing market makes getting your own place a lot harder these days (cos of the expense, with most of the council flats sold off). Theyve went for `no ties` types which to me should make it more interesting.

poor Anoushkas boyfriend is a `on/off` boyfriend haha. First he heard of it.
