Radio 1 Live Lounge Best/Worst Covers
What would you say are the best and worst cover versions feature on Radio 1's live lounge. Not just the CD but in general.
I would say one of the worst would be Girls Aloud- Rehab |

Girls Aloud's was one of the best. I'd say most of the people who did "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley were among the worst.

Take That - Every Day I Love You Less And Less.
One of the most out of tune, awful sounding live vocal groups I have ever heard. |

Love Machine by Arctic Monkeys was the best. Leave Before The Lights Come On by Gym Class Heroes easily the worst.

I have to agree, Will's Hey Ya the best and his version of Don't Cha was a belter too.
The Live Lounge Album is pretty good if you like these cover versions. |

My two favourites are Hey Ya - Will Young, Arctic Monkeys- Love Machine( it makes me laugh in a good way) there's a few I'm not keen on but it's still a great live album to have.

Keane covering U2's "With or Without you" was superb. Can listen to it all day!

KT Tunstall doing 'Get Ur Freak On' was pretty impressive.
I also like Hey Ya by Will Young. Oh yeah - and my ultimate fave is Amy Winehouse covering 'Valerie' (by The Zutons)!

That was really good - and quite funny when they started to do the Akon type squeaky voice! |

Resurrected this thread just to say how much I loved Cherry Ghost's version of 'Welcome to the Black Parade'.
It was ages ago but I can still hear it in my head! |

Loved Sugababes version of Hey There Delilah
Also Kate Nash Flourescent Adolescent was amazing, much better than the dreadful mouthwash. Worst had to be the Gym Class heroes one, that was a disaster |
