BT 1571 no messages
Hi,
I have the BT homehub with the hub phone and I have broadband talk and 1571 answer service. If I call my own number and leave a message then call 1571 to listen to it, it says that I have no new messages. A few people have said that they have left me messages but i have not received them. Has anybody else had this problem? Thanks, Lazzer. |

Also, apparently, when i call out, it uses my broadband talk (VOIP) number by default. But, if i wish, there is a way to use my normal landline by pressing something on the phone. does anybody know how i do this?
Apparently i press the green button, then another button (But i don't know which one) and the dialtone should change from the high pitched voip dialtone to the normal drone dialtone. |

Yes, the BB Talk dialtone is high pitched in comparison to a 'normal' dialtone. If you have your setup 'cross-connected' to your standard landline too, pressing 5 will drop the BB Talk 'line' and pick up the standard PSTN line (you'll know because the dialtone becomes much deeper). |
