Technika MP3 Player Problems
has anyone ever encountered a complete loss of all MP3 files by a sudden judder on bus/train that causes a pull on the very small earphones lead supplied with 4 G.B technika MP3 player.
I have lost all files twice since I exhanged this last thursday(for a larger size of GB) and seems pretty naff when you have paid £40 . anyone else ever had this problem either with Technika or other. |

Sadly it's a risk you take with get small/no name brand MP3 players. They are very prone to stuff like this. I would take it back, get a full refund and spend a bit more cash and get a Good brand name. £40 for a 4GB is not good, sure it cheap to hold a lot of music, but is it worth the hassle?
Take it back, make sure you have all your files backed up first. Explain what happened and tell them you're not satisfied with the quality of the player. |

well you described a loose connection.
LIDL have a 30GB player at £49 in many areas on Saturday. (probably 1st 15 minutes of Saturday!!!!) Harder to lose files with it being hard drive based rather than flash memory.(or not so flash memory) Sticking with Flash try a Samsung or Sandisk. Samsung from what I know make most of the Ipod Nano anyway. Sandisk are one of the worlds biggest flash manufacturers. Samsung was chosen by Apple because their original units were 50% + worse on battery life. ***** I am actually uncertain what happened with the Apple Samsung deal when it became public? Ddi Apple stick with the deal or go back to nferior technology? |

Alvar buy something that costs more for your money. A 4GB MP3 player for £50 is too good to be true. Stick with real brand names. Creative, Sony (ugghh the software), iRiver, Apple etc. If you're on a tight budget wait till you can afford a good one. Don't buy generic no namers, far too much hassle and to be honest a waste of money.

In my opinion, the ones worth looking at are (in no particular order): Creative Apple Cowon (or iAudio) Toshiba Sandisk Sony (if you can live with the awful software, the players are decent) iRiver Samsung Archos (although they are more PMP than MP3 player) Phillips do not make great MP3 players, they are OK at best. Goodmans are also pretty average. If JVC make one, I've never heard of it. |
