I am looking to buy a new cordless landline phone probably with 2 handsets and possibly a answer phone included. Is there much difference in reliability and features? seems to be a lot of different models out there.

If you want LCR as well, how about THIS and an additional handset and pod charger like THIS.

£27.99 and £7.99 respectively if bought online.

That's what I use to implement my least cost routing rules.

I'm looking into this too.

The Panasonic series that starts with KXT and then a number depending on the features/no. of handsets gets a good write-up on review sites but people complain about the sound of the voice of the "teenage girl" who does the built-in answering machine recording - yes, you can record your own message but I'd quite like the annonymity of a pre-recorded on but it would need to sound sensible! That's what's putting me off the Panasonic ones at the moment - otherwise they seem good. They were also recommended in a recent Good Housekeeping review.

Anyone else know any more?

Another vote for Panasonic. Really easy to use phone book, which can be transmitted to all the other handsets.

Yes I can also recomend the panasonics starting with KXT, the ones with the blue screens are the best I have seen. Not too sure if they are still made now but I have seen them on e bay a few times. One of the features I like is the ability to name each phone "Hall, bedroom, shed, etc"
