Advice:

Use your phone to 'phone' people.

Use your computer for the rest.

Job done.

Problem solved.

Bandwidth saved.

Daft questions gone.

I've got a Nokia E61 on 3. You can use skype and MSN messenger on their internet add-on tariff.

As for checking hotmail email, I think the only way is via the web - they've removed the POP3 option. Although blackberry claim you can check hotmail via their phone service, so not sure.

One can pay £5 per month to Vodafone and access yahoo/hotmail and AOL mail, it notifies you every 30 mins of new mail

Someone on another forum said that a Windows Live application was going to be released which will combine all applications

Can this be downloaded and installed on my mobile phone?

Craig, people say this to you EVERY time you ask ANY question, but can't you learn how to use google? I searched for '"Nokia N73" windows live messenger' and I found a couple of things which seemed vaguely promising.

no.. it quite clearly says for Windows Mobiles. You have a Symbian phone.

Skype is only available on the N73 if you're an Xseries customer of "3".
Fring is a multinetwork enabled IM/VoIP application, but I've never found it very reliable.

Can I download the app for my phone.

And a question related to application downloading on your phone

When you download and install an application onto your phone or remove an application from your phone such as Sky by Mobile oe anything else. Doe it leave any traces of files installed (like computers do when you install or remove a programme)!.

I'm pretty sure you could...

I'd recommend this first though: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Google-Dummi...6057808&sr=8-7
