SAMSUNG LE40M86BD sound delay
I have connected my new Samsung LCD TV to my ONKYO CR715DAB system and suffer from the usual delay when listening to the sound from the tv through the line 1 input to the ONKYO.
I have read and re-read the Samsung instruction book but cannot find any way to prevent this. As this is a modern set from a well know LCD TV manufacturer I would have thought there would have been some setting to overcome this. Any body got any good ideas?? Thanks |

The delay setting should be on your amp.

When I purchased a Yamaha YSP800 last year, I also had a slight synchronisation problem with my Acer LCD TV. After altering the sound delay setting on the YSP, I had no further trouble. In fact I recently changed my Acer for a (larger) Samsung LCD TV, and have not had to readjust the YSP audio delay setting. ceejbee. |

Probably not really relevant but Sky HD has a delay setting built in just in case any connected amp does not have this function.

The Onkyo isn't an amp as such, it's a combined amp/cd/tuner, they don't have the same delay options.
