Guide+ with telewest?
Hi,have recently purchased 545hx-s to combine with telewest cable box but cannot get guide + to down load cable channels, all it seem's to download is all the freeview channels?.Now my next question is if the G-link cable wont change the set top box will this in turn stop the Guide+ from downloading the cable channels. The recorder has the terrestial ariel input then linked to tv i think all other connection's are ok:stb to dvr/dvr to tv/stb to tv.I have read on other thread's that maybe i need a "redeye" here's hoping not,stb is a pace 2000 hoping someone can throw some light on this frustrating problem cheer's

Sorry, but you will need the red-eye in order to get the box to change. However, it works very well and although Guideplus doesn't support quite all the cable channels (FX, for example) it does many of the others.
On the whole I've found Guideplus to work very well and I would recommend it. The red-eye distributor also works quickly and usually you get the 'device' in a day. Good luck! |
