As was correctly posted later, West Ham played Manchester City not Manchester United.

re. the Sutton/Coventry match in 1989, Peter Jones was still very much the BBC's main man at the time, but I think it was *Ron* Jones who covered that match for Radio 2 (they have fairly similar voices, and my dad once wrongly thought they were brothers). I think Peter Jones did cover the Bournemouth/Man Utd match in 1984 (not 1985), though.

I wonder where Tony Adamson was though- on Sports Report 60 year programme on Thursday night he said he would be on the Saturday programme but he did not appear!
