Just heard, it's going to be Roger Tames and Gary Rowell

David Oates was on his own. I've noyiced that Sports Extra don't seem to have a consistent policy regarding the number of commentators per match.

Newcastle v Spurs (Five Live)
Dave Woods, Steve Stone, David Oates

Good to hear Woods doing football. Underused in recent seasons I think.

Thank you shaun_d. I agree re-Dave Woods. Apart from Rugby League (where, if I remember correctly, he made his name at BBC Radio Leeds), he sometimes does football commentary on (channel) five.

I am not available tomorrow night (but will be back on Wednesday) but I believe that Rangers v Barcelona is the commentary match on BBC Radio Five Live whereas Coventry v Watford is the feature on Five Live Sports Extra.

I have to mention, that though the station as a whole has gone down considerably since GMG took over - Century's coverage of Newcastle matches is excellent.

OK, most of the foundations were already in place from G-Cap, but Bob Moncur is an excellent pundit and Peter Graves (I think?) has proved to be a superb commentator too. Well done!
