Ages ago trixie started a thread for 'yays and boos' - the high and low points of ADWD. Well, bearing in mind that in the last week or two new forums are being set up and the volume of posts here is dropping, I thought it's high time we did some 'yays and boos' about us.

Yay for all the good natured banter even though our opinions were often poles apart

Yay to those FMs who have written some really interesting, intelligent posts on MT, song choices, the show etc etc

Yay to those FMS who have made me laugh and laugh and laugh....

Yay to all the truly random discussions that have occurred here since the show started (the pink moons of Titan spring to mind here - that was a strange Friday night on the Lee thread!)

Yay for all the thread-hopping which meant we never had to support just one Joseph

Yay to us for consistently supporting the Josephs we liked

Yay for us staying here long enough to see Lee take his rightful place on the WE stage and hear exciting news about the other Josephs

Yay to all those FMs who have taken the time to post links and retype articles for others to read

Yay to us for mostly knowing what to do with spelling and punctuation

Boo to the very few who tried to spoil the above

Yay to us for not letting them!


Have been here since the start of the live shows and 'de-lurked' about the time some bloke called Lee sang 'Bad Day' which....you know....I quite liked . Never thought I be here so many months later!

I am really asleep in bed dreaming that I am posting this, but wanted to add my twopennies worth before I fell out of REM sleep.
Yay to all the FM for encouraging shy lurkers to de-lurk and making them feel welcome.
Yay to all the FM for translating computerese into plain english for the technophobics amongst us.
Yay to all the FM for their zany good humour and camaraderie.

Incidentally I'm not sure whether it's a yay or a boo that I have laughed so hard at some posts that I have accidentally inhaled my coffee/tea, spat lunch everywhere etc....it's a reflection of how funny they are but very uncomfortable!
