Hi, does anyone have (or could anyone make) any screenshots of the s500 - i.e. the user interface (EPG etc).

I am thinking of buying one of these machines - does anyone have any comments for or against the S500?

I have used the Sony firmware on a Digifusion FVRT100. It is a crippled version of the Digifusion original firmware but offers one advantage in that it powers off the hard drive and the fan when nothing is happening. Otherwise in all other respects it is inferior.

The Sony machine is very expensive compared to a refurb FVRT200 from Microdirect. Most people would recommend buying this machine rather than the Sony. If you want the Sony name on the product, you could buy the machine but check the Digifusion forum and learn how you can get the FVRT200 0.1.1 firmware loaded on it.

thinking of getting one of these are they worth the money and has anyone tired to put a bigger disc in the machine will/does it work ?
