does anyone have any idea which players are OK????

I've heard the players that are manually changed are OK, i've got a Proline DVD2000 which can be changed manually via the remote but I haven't tried a disk yet.

Have a look at techtronics.com, they give a summary list of all the players they sell. RCE playback is one of the features it shows.

I know two people with Prolines. One plays RCE and one dosn't. Why? I've no idea, just air on the side of caution.

My Grundig 210 isn't RCE compatible BUT! most players, including mine, have some form of 'get around'. On Grundig's you go to the programming menu and programme the track you want to play - say, track 1 - then press play and it plays the film, you can do this for ALL tracks, you just can't access the menu.
