Nokia 6110 Navigator now available
I have just ordered this phone from Vodafone - they have limited stock available now.
Looks like an excellent phone. Has built in GPS which is totally free unlike the N95 which requires you to pay extra for the navigation feature. Only has a 2MP camera but that will be enough for me. It has all the other standard features like music player and FM radio. Just thought the availability may be of interest to some of you. |

Just to add, Carphone Warehouse told me today that they are not expecting stock until October.
However, as I mentioned in my original post, Vodafone have some stock now if you deal with them direct. They gave me a good offer as well so I am very peased. |

Doesn't look like anyone else is interested but just in case I thought I would post my fist impressions of the phone.
It arrived today and I have just used it for a short time. It is compact (same size as my old Sony ericsson W800i) and it looks good. The slider works well and feels solid. As for the GPS, all I can say so far is wow! I have turned the AGPS off as I don't want to get charged for the data it uses. Even with AGPS off, it got a lock inside the house within a couple of minutes. When I tried it in the car later it locked on straight away and even kept the signal while it was sat on the seat. The satellite lock seemed very good. The voice instuctions are clear and loud (and free!) and the maps are more up to date near me than my old TomTom 510! I have found 3 streets which were not on the TomTom that are on the Nokia. I tried a short route and it worked really well. When I ignored the route on purpose it recalculated a new route within seconds. Early days, but so far I am really impressed. I am so pleased I sold my old TomTom and got this phone. As I said earlier, vodafone gave me a really good deal as well. If anyone is interested in the phone I hope this helps. |

I'm thinking about getting one. What's the battery life like?

A little too early to comment on battery life as I have not used it too much yet (my call package only went live yesterday as I had ported my number from another network). However, it is fair to say that it is probably not the best.
Yesterday, I used the GPS in the car for a 2hr journey, listened to a few music tracks, browsed the web for about 10 mins and made a few short phone calls and the battery was nearly drained. I didn't think that was too bad. Its talk time is quoted at 3.5 hours and its standy time is quoted at 11 days. If battery life is really important for you then this might not be the best phone for you. Personally, the features of the phone more than make up for a shortish battery life. I have bought an in car charger which was ony £5 so this will help me keep it topped up. |

Do you still like this phone? Was thinking about getting one but a bit concerned that no shops stock it - is it a bit old now?

I believe that Vodafone have it as an exclusive, which may be why you can't find it elsewhere. I've had mine a few weeks now and think it's very good.
