BT Edge 2100 - set up held required please

I purchased the above off ebay however it wasn't supplied with a manual!

Can't get any sense out of the seller and was wondering if anyone could talk me through it?

The default code is on Page 42 of the above - very few people ever change PINs on DECT phones.

BTW, sorry I couldn't help with that Binatone of yours. The only thing I could think of was it must be some sort of design fault - but I didn't think you'd want to hear such a 'non-reply'.
