BT1500 x4 Handsets Problem
I have a BT1500 x4 handsets phone.
One of the handsets is stuck in the engaged position. All features are working on the handset, except the dial tone. I have spoken to BT technical dept, who tbh, are a waste of time, any idea to a possible solution? |

As the techies at work always used to start by telling me, "It's a computer. It's confused. Reboot it."
I'd start by removing the handset's batteries overnight. |

I'd start by removing the handset's batteries overnight. I have done that, and replaced the batteries, have also reprogrammed it from the base unit, but I cannot get a dial tone, or get rid of the engaged tone. Oh, btw, the engaged tone only appears if you answer the phone, or go to make a call. All the other 3 handsets are OK, no problems. |
