In this case, Wikipedia is a good general resource:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_...zioni_Shqiptar

The transition to color apparently happened in the early 1980s.

Here's a long YouTube clip of Albanian TV from 1986, beginning with the weather forecast (the news starts at the 1:30:40 mark):

Cheers DF. It's so behind the time isn't it ?

Many thanks as always DF. Thanks to clicking on the first link I came across many 1980s episodes of Aktuelle Kamera too. I just wish I could understand German

My pleasure!

An extended ident, possibly the start-up sequence, from Estonian Television in the Soviet era, 1980:

The beginning of the news on Estonian Television (Aktuaalne Kaamera) from the same period:

And, of course, that was a significant year for Estonia, with Tallinn hosting the sailing at the Moscow Olympics.

Apparently, this 1979 Eurovision logo from JRT in Yugoslavia was the first animated one ever:

Didn't they have some fort of animation of logos on Jeux Sans Frontiers too ? Not quite as serious as Eurovision, but still all a game

Happy new year
