Chaps on a vaguely related subject, my sister wants to buy her boyfriend one of these ipod video thingies.

Would he be able to rip any of his pre-owned DVDs on to it, or is there some sort of block on playing anything other than video's purchased through itunes?

I'm guessing by the content of this thread that he is free to put what he want on it, but I'd like to confirm before I tell her anything.

Cheers!

You can but you would need to download a dvd decrypter 1st, then convert this using the videroa software.
