I've just seen it, very bright for a couple of mins and then it just disappeared into some clouds.

Did anybody else see a bright streak, possibly an iridum flare or meteor, to the north west just as the ISS was reaching it's peak? At first I thought it was a firework because it was so bright but it definitely wasn't. I can't find any evidence of a satellite flare around that time though.

Saw the ISS very clear in East London about 21.50 this evening from the west. The tracker was about a couple of minutes out though.

Heads up for a great pass over London in about 20 minutes. Altitude 87° at 21:05.

It's not just London, it's the whole of the UK. I've seen it every day for the last week or so, except for last night when it was cloudy. Very bright indeed tonight - beautiful. I saw it twice last... Friday was it? I found that quite overwhelming to be honest - while I'd been sat on my sofa and consuming a pizza and a couple of glasses of wine, they'd been ALL THE WAY ROUND THE WHOLE PLANET.

I've seen it a couple of times this week and, embarrassingly, I have waved and said hello to the crew....

That's not embarassing, that's normal. I'm sure they wave back.

This evening just after 5pm (5:11 to 5:14 in the central south of England) is the last time the ISS will be visible in the evenings until February 5th, even in the south. It will be low down, rising in the west and setting in the south, not much more than an extended fist above the horizon. But at least the weather conditions are perfect for seeing it, in most places.

Early birds may be able to catch it in the mornings though, from next week.

Saw it a couple of weeks ago after getting the times from the website. Had to get up in the middle of a clear night to see it. Lasted about 4 minutes. It was quicker moving than I'd imagined.

Absolutely brilliant.

The ISS is back in the evening sky from about 30 March.
